COME FORTH.

Queen Esther, a young, beautiful, true heroine of the Old Testament (Tanach). Esther was an exiled, orphan who was raised by her older cousin, Mordecai (Esther 2.7). He changed her Hebrew name to Esther from Hadassah to protect her from the threat of the Jewish exile by King Ahasuerus. Esther later became the Queen of Persia and then risked her life by faith and trust in God to save her people.  Mordecai said this to Queen Esther which is our founding verse, "If you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will come to the Jewish people from another place, but you and your father’s family will be destroyed. Who knows, perhaps you have come to your royal position for such a time as this." Esther 4.14
